Wedding: John & Laura
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding that was special for two reasons. First, my cousin John married Laura, a lovely and intelligent woman who thinks he’s hilarious (well done!). Second, this momentous occasion was documented by the talented photographer Masen Larsen, who graciously let me tag along. The sure-to-be beautiful shots of the bride and newlyweds will appear on his blog; I focused on my family, and the details of the day.
We kicked of with a rehearsal dinner and party in a lovely outdoor garden in Paso Robles, in California wine country, with a warm summer evening and some fantastic wine for toasts.
The morning of the wedding, John was jumping for joy (nothing says “I do” like jazz hands).
Look how happy they look together – can you blame him?
My aunt and uncle getting ready to walk John down the aisle…
Ten minutes later, time for the party! The tables are numbered by John’s favorite Raiders players… in Laura’s tasteful brown and green color scheme.
For dessert, beautiful little cupcakes, chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne.
The first dance, with both ladies.
Congratulations! Laura, welcome to the family, we’re so happy to have you.

Gorgeous Liz. Absolutely stunning and you caught some truly precious moments there. I *heart* these photos. Have you submitted them to Wedding Gawker yet? =) x
We agree, the picture of Nancy and Jerry is the best one EVER of the two of them together. Congrats.
Liz-
Thank you so much for taking these great pictures! Laura and I can’t stop looking at them on our honeymoon.
My two personal favorites are the one with Laura and my Dad and the groomsmen doing jazz hands.
BTW…..I am hilarious!
John
John – You were pretty hilarious doing the splits all day to be on the same eye level as everyone in the photos, that’s true!
beautiful photos, very well done!
Wonderful pictures! Really captures some beautiful moments! Love the one with Laura and John’s dad and the one with John holding Laura’s bouquet. Shows he won’t mind carrying her purse and diaper bag in years to come!
Wow, lovely pictures. I love the black and white with Jerry. Excellent shots Liz.
Beautiful pics! And the bride’s dress is utterly lovely. I bet they were glad to have you there to record every wonderful moment in such breathtaking photos.
